The Monarch Society
Gifts to the Monarch Society are undesignated and are directed to Monarch’s highest, greatest, and most immediate needs as determined by our Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team. To make a gift or get more information, call the Development Office at (704) 986-1583.
Designated Gifts
You may designate your gift to the Monarch program, site or initiative that speaks to you. Designated gifts are made available immediately for the use intended. Simply note your designation on the Online Donation Form as you make your gift.
Planned Giving
By including Monarch in your will and estate plans, you ensure that life-changing services for people we support will be available when and where they are needed in the future. Endowment Gifts
Endowed gifts provide a special opportunity for contributors to provide for the present, as well as the future of Monarch. The principal of an endowment gift is invested by Monarch, and a portion of the annual interest earned is used to support the cause selected by the donor. The remaining interest earned is reinvested in order to grow the principal of the fund.
A Gift of Stock
An outright gift of appreciated marketable securities is one of the most attractive methods of realizing your charitable intentions. A gift of stock is eligible for an income tax deduction, and you do not incur capital gains tax on the transfer. Monarch Staff Payroll Deduction
Monarch staff can make a donation online via the Online Donation Form or on-going payroll deductions. Gifts may be directed to the program or site of the staff members choice or to the Monarch Society for general support.
