A SAFE, SECURE, CONVENIENT TREATMENT OPTION
Monarch’s telehealth services provide you with a safe, secure, and easy way to connect with your therapist or mental health provider for an individual or group therapy appointment.
Using video conferencing technology, telehealth appointments allow you to meet with Monarch staff, therapists, nurse practitioners, and psychiatrists from your desktop or laptop computer, cell phone, or tablet device. Telehealth visits are compliant with all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements and you can complete a telehealth visit from just about anywhere using internet or wi-fi access.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Monarch uses the Doxy.me platform to host telehealth appointments. Prior to your scheduled visit, you will receive a direct link via text or email which will take you to your provider’s online waiting room. Simply click that link at your appointment time and your provider will be notified that you’ve arrived. He or she will meet you online and you will complete your visit. Your provider may also have resources and information posted in his or her virtual waiting room which you may find helpful throughout your treatment.
In addition, you may receive a reminder telephone call from a Monarch team member in the days leading up to your appointment. During that call, you will have an opportunity to provide important health information and medication updates which may save time during your scheduled appointment.
WHO USES TELEHEALTH SERVICES?
Telehealth services provide an alternative to in-person, face-to-face treatment for individuals receiving outpatient behavioral health services. At Monarch, telehealth visits may also be used by individuals receiving Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team and Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services and other community-based, specialized services as needed. Telehealth services are also used for group therapy sessions, allowing people we support to connect during treatment with others who have similar experiences.
